Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account info: the email address and name you register with, or the profile info Google provides if you sign in with Google OAuth.
• Game data: the scores, attempts, and timestamps you generate by playing — this is what powers your percentile profile and the public leaderboards (shown under your anonymous handle, never your name or email).
• Billing info: if you subscribe to Premier, Stripe processes your payment and shares back a customer ID and subscription status — we never see or store your full card number.
• Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, request timestamps) collected automatically by our hosting provider, Vercel, for security and reliability.

2. How we use it

• To operate your account, save your scores, and compute percentiles/leaderboards.
• To process Premier payments and manage subscription access.
• To send account-related emails (e.g. password resets), not marketing spam.
• To maintain security, debug issues, and improve the Service.

3. What's shown publicly

Leaderboards display your anonymous handle (e.g. otter-falcon-4821) and score only. Your real name and email are visible only to you, on your own dashboard, and are never shown to other users.

4. Who we share data with

We use a small number of service providers to run QAM Labs, each only for its purpose:

• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure.
• Neon (Postgres) — database storage.
• Stripe — payment processing for Premier.
• Google — only if you choose Google sign-in.

We don't sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in (session cookies via NextAuth). We don't use third-party advertising trackers.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and game history for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email support@qamlabs.com from the email address on the account.

7. Children's privacy

QAM Labs is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
